You don’t have to be a cheese-lover to love our cheddar hot dog bun. The smooth taste of cheddar is baked right in while the soft, chewy texture is the perfect complement for dawgs ‘n smokies. Toasts up nicely for breakfast. Makes the perfect side for soups and salads, too. A blend of simple ingredients like enriched white flour, cheddar, salt and canola oil. Trans fat free. Sustainably made from wholesome ingredients.

1. Breakout & Thaw

Break product out onto hot dog pans or onto flat baking sheets. Remember to keep belt mark of bun down. Cover rack and put in retarder or cooler overnight to thaw.

2. Morning

Remove rack from retarder or cooler, remove plastic cover and put back into proofer, or keep plastic cover on if floor proofing product until space is available in proofer. Proof until product is about 2 – 3 times its original size. This should take approximately 40 – 60 minutes.

OPTIONAL TOPPING: Shredded Cheese

3. Bake Time

SCORING: None

Bake Cheese Hotdog at 375˚F for 13 – 16 minutes or until golden brown. When bake is complete remove product from pans and let product completely cool before packaging.
